NGUVU YETU

Linking rural livelihoods to child development

Nguvu Yetu is a rural farmers Economic Linkage Project. Translating from Swahili meaning “Our Strength”, this is an innovative initiative that links rural livelihoods to child health and development. Through this project, RCK partners with smallholder farmers to supply fresh, locally grown produce for our Smart Start nutrition program. In return, we support these farmers with training, market access, and economic empowerment, creating self sustaining cycle where farming fuels child development, and healthy children ensure a thriving future for farming communities. This model not only strengthens food systems but also deepens the rural-urban connection that lies at the heart of our mission.
